In the forthcoming anthology, My Food Beginnings, Filipino migrants, including The White House Executive Chef Cris Comerford, look through the lens of Filipino food to tell stories of their lives and share recipes inspired by dishes of one of the hottest cuisines today. Whether you are Filipino or not, the stories will nurture your soul and the recipes will excite your palate.
The project is represented by Martha Hopkins of Terrace Partners, which has worked on the writing, editing, design, development, and representation of more than 40 books on food across the USA, from Stephan Pyles’ groundbreaking New Tastes from Texas for Clarkson Potter in the late 1990s to recent books such as United Tastes of Texas for Time Inc. by Jessica Dupuy.
