Joanne Boston-KwanHull is a Filipino food advocate and social media/digital coordinator in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is creative director of JBKollaborations, through which she assists with the promotion of local and national Filipino food events. In 2016, Joanne was recognized as one of the top 10 young Filipino Americans in the United States by the Philippine Embassy and chosen to be part of the Filipino American Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO). In 2015, she became a founding board member of the Filipino Food Movement (FFM), a nonprofit organization. She was a planning board member for Savor Filipino, the first Filipino food festival in the United States in 2014 and 2016. Her writing has appeared on the CBS San Francisco website,the San Francisco Chronicle, and others. Joanne is currently a full-time communication sciences student and a medical oncology reimbursement specialist.
