​Janice Lobo Sapigao is a writer, poet, and educator from San José, California. She was named one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s 2017 Women to Watch by KQED Arts. She is also the author of like a solid to a shadow (Timeless, Infinite Light), and her first book of poetry, microchips for millions (PAWA). She is a VONA/Voices Fellow and Kundiman Poetry Fellow. Janice earned a BA with Honors in Ethnic Studies from UC San Diego and an MFA in Writing from CalArts.​
