​Chef Christian Andre Pettersen is the son of a Norwegian father and a Filipino mother. His identity, persona, and profession stem from his origins: a seamless fusion of East and West.

Christian started his training in the kitchen at a very young age at his father’s restaurant. His father, a chef, has been his idol and inspiration all throughout his career. By the time Christian turned 26, he had won eleven gold medals, eight silvers, and one bronze in prestigious regional, national, and continental culinary competitions, including San Pellegrino Young Chef and Bocuse d’Or Norge 2017. In 2017 he was also honored as one of Forbes magazine’s “30 under 30 Europe.” He is currently the head chef at Mondo restaurant in Sandnes, Norway.​
